Case Background:

Ben Baer obtained a $22 million result for a factory worker who suffered an arm amputation. While cleaning a piece of industrial equipment, a portion of the machine was not guarded. When the worker’s arm got near, it was sucked into the machine, was severely damaged, and ultimately amputated.

 

Case Result:

In November of 2023, this case resolved at mediation for $22 million. As lead attorney on this matter, Ben independently investigated the case, handled discovery, took every deposition, and prepared all filings. Ben also worked closely with the injured worker and his family to keep them appraised of all major case events and help them deal with this devastating injury and the impact it had on their family.
