Tree falls in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park, 4 hospitalized
Yesterday, four people were taken to the hospital after a tree fell in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on the 4200 block of South Concourse Drive, just east of Belmont Avenue.
ILP Partner David Langsam has advocated for countless victims of fallen trees in public places such as roads, golf courses, and parks – as well as private properties like backyards. This November, David will lead a CLE (a class for attorneys) on the proper care trees and associated laws titled “Natural Beauty Meets Safety Hazard.”
We encourage anyone who has been injured by a tree, or the loved ones of those who lost may have lost a life due to trees, to contact Mr. Langsam. He has successfully sought just justice for many who have suffered due to improperly maintained trees and is available for questions at any time.
